Five volumes in full leather bindings with gilt titles and deecorations to spines. General wear to exterior as shown with a few joints cracked and boards loosened, some marks and scuffs. All edges yellow. Each front pastedown with bookplate of Bridehead. Volumes 2 to 5 with half titles. Each with dated letterpress title with engraving. Pages with a total of 58 plates and 3 folding maps. Volume one also with four leaves of Ethiopian dialects. Light age toning and the odd little mark here and there, otherwise pages and plates are generally clean as shown.
