Bodegón con jarra de cobre, an oil painting from Spain dated to 1950 within the 1940–1950 period, executed in oil, sold with its original frame, measuring 65 cm high by 75 cm wide and signed by hand.

Carlos Gallegos García-Pelayo (Jerez de la Frontera 1909 – Algeciras 1962)
Carlos Gallegos García-Pelayo was a student of Nicolás Soro and Manuel Ágreda at the School of Arts and Crafts in Jerez de la Frontera. He continued his studies at the School of Fine Arts in Cádiz with Federico Godoy. He graduated from the San Fernando School of Fine Arts in Madrid in 1936.
He was a drawing teacher in Jerez, Valdepeñas, Tetouan, and Algeciras. Commander of the Order of Medhauia for services rendered to the Kingdom of Morocco.
A very well-executed work from the period when he lived in Morocco, where he contributed greatly to the arts of this country during that time of transition. His works are scattered throughout the country. It is sold with its original frame from around 1950. The dimensions of the work alone, without the frame, are 61x51 cm. It will be shipped perfectly packaged by a prestigious international company. It belonged to a family of Cadiz origin, friends of the artist.
