Onofre Alarcón - "PRIMEVAL TRACES" #117- XL NO RESERVE

Primeval Traces, piece No. 117 from my collection, is a direct journey to the origin. In this 110 x 110 cm canvas, worked in acrylic, I explore my neorupestrista language, a movement I created to connect contemporary art with the earliest traces of humanity. In the center, animal and human figures emerge among intense pigments, as if reviving an ancestral memory that never ceased to exist.
In this piece, I have also left my true mark, imprinted as a tangible trace of my presence in time, a physical link between the creator and the work. Every line, every symbol, and every texture is designed to convey energy, movement, and an primordial mystery that invites the viewer to pause and feel.
"Primeval Traces" is more than a painting: it is an experience, a fragment of reinvented history for those seeking works with strength, identity, and soul.

Unique and Original Work
Each painting is a unique creation, sent directly from my studio. I use high-quality acrylics and oils, along with innovative mixed media techniques, including dripping, waxes, acrylic markers, pens, rollers, brushes, and spatulas. This combination allows me to achieve distinctive strokes and textures that bring my works to life.
To facilitate framing, each canvas includes an additional 5-centimeter margin on all sides. The edges are painted with a wrap-around finish, allowing the artwork to be appreciated in its entirety, whether framed with an American box or unframed. To ensure durability and protect the colors from UV rays, each painting receives a layer of high-quality satin varnish.

Images are illustrative and may not represent the exact scale of the work, so it is recommended to review the actual dimensions carefully.
Likewise, the colors displayed on the screen may differ slightly from the original tones of the artwork; in live viewing, it always improves.

About me:
I am a self-taught Spanish visual artist, based in Alicante, driven by an unwavering passion for creative freedom and spontaneous expression. My creative process is fueled by a relaxed and stimulating environment, where chill-out music accompanies me, allowing me to channel my energy and give my best in every brushstroke. I am particularly drawn to the expressionist style, where emotion and subjectivity take center stage. Proximity to the Mediterranean has profoundly influenced my work, leading me to capture the beauty and power of the sea on numerous canvases. Additionally, cave art is a constant source of inspiration, and its primitive, essential strokes are often reflected in my creations. I consider myself an artist in constant evolution, exploring new techniques and styles, with vast creative potential. Each piece is a step forward in my artistic journey, pushing me to reach new goals.
