A. Lange & Söhne watch movement No. 8790 - watch from the early days of Adolph Lange
Fine Lepine pocket watch - case not from A. Lange
Dial and early movement by the original A. Lange Dresden.
Very well-preserved two-piece white enamel dial (spotless). Fine Roman numerals with an outer-running connected minute track in black. Delicate, finely handcrafted steel hands - blued. Small recessed seconds above the six. Marked A. Lange Dresden.
Hand setting under the bezel on the case. Adjustment lever below the IIII (4). Push the lever upward and hold it with your nail while simultaneously turning the crown.
Surfaces worked smoothly.
Highly interesting fire-gilded manufacturing work with a fine construction from Workshop A. Lange in Dresden - top quality. Screwed chatons and screwed diamond bearing jewel. Gold anchor, gold anchor wheel - anchor train, polished wheels. Signed Adolph Lange Dresden 8790.

Watch diameter 54mm without crown - with crown 76.1mm. Weight with chain 97.3g.
