French verge clock with hourly self-strike on bell and date - 8K Gold
Hallmarked - 8K is also a common old gold content in the Vienna area
Enamel dial in good condition – Arabic numerals with an externally running minute track with 5-digit decorative markers and Arabic numerals 15/30/45/60. Filigree hands with expertly crafted circular inlays. Internal running date with a gold-colored hand. Two winding mechanisms for the going train and striking mechanism. One repair to the winding mechanism at the 8th o'clock position.
Side case with floral engraving
Fold-out pin for the work under the six.
A solid, fine, fire-gilt movement in a classic design. Engraved ring on the underside. A floral oval verge cock with quartered decorations and an engraved edge, as well as pointed appliqués on the top and bottom. An engraved silver disc with speed adjustment. Beautiful round pillars - signed De Bon.
Silver-colored bell for hourly chime
Movement and percussion functioning.
Key winding at the dial. Winding key for the going train, striking train, and hand setting at the dial with a center square available.
Collector's watch, therefore no control over the accuracy and duration of the movement.
Very nice condition.
The full hours are struck without triggering = self-strike.
Repetition of the lesson with pressure on pedant
Clock creation around 1770 France
The watch has a diameter of 50 mm without the pendant. With the pendant, it measures 68 mm. It has a height of 23 mm and a weight of 100.3 g.
