Fine collector's watch in beautiful condition - outer case missing
Rare movement pendulum in gold-plated case.
Inner casing silver.
A fine, unusual dial. Silver – very good condition – a so-called Champlevé dial with a rare design. Roman numerals are separated by sunken decorative panels. These panels contain raised silver diamonds. A circle features the continuous minute markers and cartouches with Arabic numerals in fives – 5 to 60. In the center is a sunken circle with a raised banner at the top and bottom, as well as ornamentation. The steel hands in baroque design – black – are an eye-catcher. The dial is in immaculate condition. First-class.
Fold-out pin on the dial under the six.
Original folding hinge not soldered.
The entire watch is in very good condition — winding mechanism over the back.
Winding key and hand setting key located on the dial center square.

A magnificent fire-gilded movement with full decoration and high-quality engraving. Marked Tobias Schnell Tauer – a gold-plated verge bridge with a semicircular cutout for the false pendulum. The pendulum is engraved with a gold star. The engravings are masterfully executed and very detailed. The verge escapement is driven by a fusee and chain, with magnificent angular pillars skeletonized in the center and a decorative garland. An unusual, very fine design – rare and very beautiful.
