Based on the design of the carré Les Sangles

At the end of the 19th century, shops dedicated to stable care and equestrian accessories were a treasure trove of wonders. Joachim Metz was inspired by one of their catalogs, preserved in the Émile Hermès collection, to create this scarf with vibrant colors, characterized by a sophisticated modernity. During winter or long journeys, horse blankets were fastened with straps across the chest and belly of the animal. Skillfully aligned, cleverly suspended out of time, waiting for a rider to unfasten them... But in the meantime, they remain an everlasting icon of the Maison.

Used, vintage in excellent condition!
The detailed photos show slight discoloration caused by perfume use, which has resulted in small defects on the gray edges, visible in the images.
