Description from the seller
Hermès Paris scarf
Carré Les Sangles
Beautiful HERMÈS signature foulard scarf, made of 100% silk, with a white background and pink borders, featuring a vintage retro print with vivid colors and detailed design.
Soft, very light, and extremely delicate to the touch, it is a piece that pairs perfectly with classic casual clothing.
An object and its secrets
Based on the design of the carré Les Sangles
At the end of the 19th century, shops dedicated to stable care and equestrian accessories were a treasure trove of wonders. Joachim Metz was inspired by one of their catalogs, preserved in the Émile Hermès collection, to create this scarf with vibrant colors, characterized by a sophisticated modernity. During winter or long journeys, horse blankets were fastened with straps across the chest and belly of the animal. Skillfully aligned, cleverly suspended out of time, waiting for a rider to unfasten them... But in the meantime, they remain an everlasting icon of the Maison.
Dimensions 90x86 cm
Photos taken front and back with and without camera flash to highlight the details.
Used, vintage in excellent condition!
The detailed photos show slight discoloration caused by perfume use, which has resulted in small defects on the gray edges, visible in the images.
Nothing relevant, the boss still maintains his beauty and refinement.
