Spanish painter. He studied at the School of Fine Arts of San Jorge in Barcelona, where he was a student of Josep Mongrell, and at the San Fernando School in Madrid. In 1927, he traveled to Paris and Amsterdam to further his studies. He excelled in still life painting and landscapes, specializing in the regions of the Upper Pyrenees in Aragon and the Ordesa Valley. He frequently participated in the National Exhibitions of Fine Arts, where he won third medal in 1930 with a work titled 'Still Life'. He also exhibited at the Spring Salon in Barcelona and at the Venice Biennale. In 1931, he founded an academy in Barcelona bearing his name.
