For lovers of fine books and fans of The Lord of the Rings, here is a collector's edition in French published by Christian Bourgois Éditeur.
This edition brings together the three parts of the epic.

It is a very beautiful paperback book, covered with a dust jacket. The brown fabric cover is engraved on the spine with gold letters and monogrammed on the front cover with the initials of J.R.R. Tolkien. The illustrations, drawn by Allan Lee (the artistic director of the film adaptations of the trilogy), are interspersed randomly throughout the book, each accompanied by the phrase it references and the page where that phrase can be found.
This book is a first edition: printed on July 6, 1992, for legal deposit: July 1992.
The book is in very good condition and has never been read. Only signs of aging on the edge (a few yellowish discolorations) are to be noted.
The cover also shows a trace of wear on the front bottom right (see photo).
