AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Beautiful large chondrite NWA10226 - 576g, Main Mass!

Beautiful large stone with a very aerodynamic shape and a well-structured patina.
Specimen with a conical shape featuring beautiful characteristic shock fractures.

Double specimen, this meteorite broke during its fall and the two fragments still fit together perfectly. Very educational!
The very beautiful exterior appearance is representative of the typical condition in which meteorites are found in the desert.

It is an H4 type chondrite (S2-W2).
Weight: 576g (respectively in two fragments of 438g and 138g), dimensions: approximately 100x85x50mm.
Provenance: purchased in Agadir in 2014 but originating from Southern Morocco (border of Western Sahara).
An uncommon and especially very didactic system, perfect for exhibitions or to complete your collection.

IMPORTANT: The person who purchases this specimen will become the exclusive owner of the entire mass of NWA10226, only a fragment was taken for analysis by Professor Antony Irving of U.W.S. and the official classification by the Meteoritical Society!!!

With an exclusive Certificate of Authenticity.

Once again, a great opportunity to add this beautiful, very distinctive stone to your collection...
