We are offering at auction the reissues of the Computron LED, Black Edition Quartz, created in 1976 and now limited to a few reproduced pieces. Bulova, which was on the Moon—even if not officially, as it had already been there in 1971 with a prototype on astronaut David Scott's wrist during the Apollo 15 mission—produced in 1976 a curious timepiece with strange shapes featuring digital time indication, the Computron LED. Absolutely innovative and with a design that at the time left everyone speechless, its trapezoidal case, completely enclosed, displayed the time on a vertical display, so much so that to read the time, one had to rotate the wrist.
