Under the pseudonym "The JA," Jacopo Mattia Alegiani, a painter and video artist, has a long history of research and experimentation, ranging from the graffiti of the 1980s to large-scale canvases, to the painting that today focuses on reproducing the digital effect of screens in general. In the late 1990s, he used unusual materials, including plastic grids, which aided him in the representation of pixels and the intrinsic symbolism of interconnections, allowing him to conceptually bridge the physical and digital worlds.
