Biography
Sutjipto Adi was born in Jember, East Java, Indonesia in 1957. He studied art at
Indonesian Fine Art High School and pursued further studies at the Indonesian Fine Art.
Academy (ASRI) Yogyakarta from 1977 to 1981. He has been actively participating in
National and international group exhibitions in Jakarta, Bali, Hong Kong, and Japan.
Fukuoka Museum. Adi has held two very well-received and memorable solo shows so far.
One was held at the Surabaya Art Council in East Java in 1985, and then in 2001 at Artfolio.
Singapore hosted his second solo show. As a prominent figure in the development
