3 bottles of "Barolo del Comune di Barolo" by Sansilvestro. The vintage is the extraordinary 2021, a vintage receiving an incredible 97T-score on the Robert Parker Vintage Chart.
Sansilvestro "Barolo del comune di Barolo": A Barolo that was born in the municipality symbol of this denomination in the world, with its imposing castle overlooking the surrounding hills that became Unesco World Heritage in 2014. The Municipality of Barolo is characterized by a mixed soil of marna and sands that can offer the vines the ideal conditions to best express the peculiarities of each individual vineyard.
Technical info:
Aging: in large Slavonian oak barrels and then aged in bottle.
Comments of the oenologist:
Scents of blackberry, currant pulp and sweet sour cherries interspersed with delicate toasted and balsamic hints. Tannino mighty in the mouth, but well balanced by a pleasant feeling of enveloping as if it were velvet. End and persistent.
Gastronomic pairings:
Lasagna with porcini mushrooms, tartare of raw meat with Piedmontese with Parmesan cheese, panting egg with white truffle d’Alba, alpeggio castelmagno, seasoned Parmesan cheese.
Longevity: atleast 10 years.
