Description from the seller
panel 0.6 cm
In this portrait, I try not to add anything and not to take anything away.
Just her body, her years, her gaze.
The skin tells the story that we often prefer to hide.
traces of life, loss, rising again, moving forward.
It is precisely that which I want to honor.
For me, aging is not an end, but a form of clarity.
Everything that was noise fades away. What remains is pure.
a body that does not lie, a face that does not pretend.
In Precious Bodies, it is not about beauty as we are used to.
but to have the courage to be seen as you are.
A body that bears time without apologizing for it.
All series – from self-portraits and aging bodies to young male boxers, women at sunset, and intimate scenes with cats – can be found on my website, where you can also read more about my background and motivations.

I work exclusively with high-quality materials: professionally prepared linen or smooth panels, and top-quality oil paint rich in pigment. Each piece is created with care and dedication—intended to last a long time, not only in terms of material but also in meaning.
My work is an ode to what slowly disappears: body, silence, attention.
