Superb facsimile of Paul Léautaud's manuscript in phototypy, produced by Daniel Jacomet, with only 109 copies, all hand-numbered by Paul Léautaud and signed. This one bears the number 109.

Contains 22 pages (some leaflets) of the Journal Littéraire - fragments from 1897 to 1899 - and a 12-page text on Rémy de Gourmont written in 1905, printed on gray paper.

Pages, with a cover in decorated paper bearing the manuscript title reproduced in facsimile, in a cardboard case.
In good condition. Case damaged at the edges and worn. Cover made of paper, slightly fragile with small holes at the fold and slightly torn margins.
A fine example.

Paul Léautaud, born in 1872 and died in 1956, was known in his time as a drama critic, but it is his Journal Littéraire, to which he dedicated 60 years, that earned him posthumous recognition.
