This double-sided page features two beautifully hand-colored engravings from the period, making it a highly sought-after piece among collectors.
Recto – Map of the Rhine (Rheinströms)
Superb antique map of the Rhine river course, notably depicting:
Strasbourg
Speyer
Worms
Mainz
Bingen
The period colors are very well preserved, with a beautiful intensity.
Back – Old view of the city of Haguenau (Hagenaw)
Charming 16th-century urban view, also hand-colored, showing city walls, churches, and houses.
