In Amsterdam, Guillaume Corneille walks through the halls of the Rijksmuseum and examines the great names of painting. The female figures are often dreamy, frozen in suspended time, close to Cézanne's nudes.
Original state with slight creases in the paper of the artwork.
Guillaume Corneille (1922-2010) was born in Liège to Dutch parents and was part of the Cobra group with Constant, Dotremont, Karel Appel, Asger Jorn, Noiret, Doucet, and Alechinsky.
