Description from the seller
Italian Art Nouveau candelabrum – Bronze figure with brass arms – 47 cm (1890–1930)
Decorative chandelier in the Art Nouveau style, produced in Italy between 1890 and 1930.
The piece is composed of a female figure in bronze, elegantly modeled, with the undulating posture typical of the Art Nouveau movement.
Starting from the raised arm of the figure, the upper part of the candelabrum is made of brass, featuring two arms and richly decorated candle holders. This combination of metals — bronze in the figure and brass in the upper structure — was common in Italian production in the early 20th century.
The chandelier retains its antique patina, showing signs of age typical of a piece over a century old, but it is in very good overall condition, with no structural damage and well-preserved details.
Materials: - Figure: bronze.
Arms of the candelabrum: brass.
Total height: 47 cm.
Condition: Very good antique condition.
Original patina, slight wear, and small marks characteristic of time, confirming its authenticity.
Origin: Italy, Art Nouveau, circa 1890–1930.
