Description from the seller

Beautiful and harmonious sculptural group of two panthers made of zamak or technical zinc mounted on a base of Belgian black marble.
Signed "M.Font" on the base.
Both panthers stride with an elegant and serene gait, displaying Font's signature aesthetic: stylized figures with long legs and slender bodies. They are crafted from cold-painted metal and retain their beautiful original patina. The mounting is on Belgian black marble, which complements the tone and patina of the metal figures beautifully.
In good condition, the set is beautiful and attractive and will delight any lover of Art Deco.
The panther was a recurring source of inspiration for artists of the period, and there are notable works by artists such as Le Verrier, Ouline, and Chiparus himself, making it one of the most representative objects of this movement, along with chryselephantine sculptures, bas-reliefs, and the human figure. See the accompanying photos, as they form part of the description.
ATTENTION: For safety reasons, the assembly is shipped disassembled, but assembly is simple; simply replace the fixing nuts.
