Piaget - Cushion Clous de Paris - 13427 - Unisex - 1970-1979

*Don’t be put off by the 32mm diameter, this watch wears much bigger on the wrist. Piaget’s designers experimented with using a type of guilloché technique called clous de Paris, which are essentially tiny pyramids etched closely together into the white-gold dial, bezel, and case. The result is a sort of miniaturized hobnail pattern that really lends class and presence to this watch. A white-gold surround on the date aperture and a sharp dauphine handset ups the class factor even more.

The dial with a finish clous de paris, date, and two-hand dauphine hands are a nice accent to the engraved bezel.
case is made of white gold, it is in good condition with sharp edges including the bezel, and the hallmarks on the back cover are still intact.
Manual winding and needle turning are smooth.
