Longines - Sympathie "Roger Dubuis" Blue dial - 846.5094 - Men - 1970-1979

HISTORY OF THE MODEL:
- Watch is from the 70s, and it holds the savoir faire of vintage watches. Roger Dubuis himself worked for Longines during those years , and he founded himself and devoloped as one of the greatest watchmakers in history around the 80s.

This piece is the "sympathie" model, that Mr. Roger Dubuis inspired himself in the acclaimed and famous current sympathie models that have struck the market in recent years. In the 70s, Longines developed another series of "sympathie models" like this one.

With this iteration i haven´t seen much examples pop up in the market, with the model with yellow gold and blue dial with a lovely patina and wonderful golden steel hands.

Details:
- Movement: Manual Winding.
- Reference: L846. 5094, as per my knowledge.
- Case Material: Yellow gold plated.
- Bracelet: alligator bracelet + strap of choice.
- Case Dimensions: 30-32 mm
- Complications: time small secons.
- Dial: lovely patina white beige with golden numerals
- Winding Crown: Pull-out
- Water-resistance: not tested. not recommended.
Watch is in great condition, considering its age. some scratches on case shown.

* I believe the seconds small hand can be replaced in red and dial looks refinished.

CONDITION REPORT: subjective to me as a collector:
Watch has minimal scratches in case, dial, crystal, bezel , due to being vintage. nothing to worry about, however is a vintage watch of over 50 years and we dont touch anything unless needed. case has faded a bit, etc.
