Iconic work of Bernard Aubertin's monochrome production, a prominent exponent of the ZERO movement and Noubìveau Réalisme.
A painted wooden table in vibrant red with a regular grid of nails applied on the surface, the nails are arranged in 17 rows and 17 columns, totaling 289 nails. The serial repetition of the elements creates a hypnotic visual rhythm and a three-dimensional texture that plays with light and shadow.
