Fork - .835 silver - 18th century with a small dog

Antique fork with a silver handle. The handle is richly decorated with playful putti and topped with a (Kees) dog, which is a symbol of the patriots of that time. (late 18th century)

Note: Amsterdam city hallmark with year letter for 1791 and a worn MT. Also with ZII, the tax hallmark for 2nd grade silver, indicating that the so-called small hallmark was used. (835/1000)
The (metal) fork part is original and also marked with a metal blacksmith's mark (a kind of star-shaped flower on a small stem).
