Brand Heuer, Model 408.213 decimal chronometer with 1/100 minute scale and 0–30 minute register, manual-winding movement, original case and warranty document with vendor stamp.
Description from the seller
I would like to inform you that, after a detailed analysis, this specimen closely matches the reference Heuer 408.213, a significantly rarer and more valued professional variant compared to the common models of the Trackmaster line (series 403). The 408 series was designed by Heuer-Leonidas for technical and industrial use, with high decimal precision (scale 0–100, 1/100 of a minute) and a 30-minute recording capacity, produced in smaller quantities and intended for laboratory applications, engineering, and specialized timing.
The set of features — decimal dial, 30-minute sub-register, button configuration, original case, and partially visible numbering — matches the catalog from the time for reference 408.213, making this stopwatch especially attractive to collectors of pre-TAG professional instruments. It is therefore a rarer and more sought-after model than the standard Trackmaster, with greater historical relevance and market value.
This reference appears in Heuer catalogs from the 1970s as a decimal chronograph of 1/100 minute, equipped with a 0–30 minute register and a flyback/reset function via the side button. The set of features fully matches the specimen presented in the lot.
Includes original box from the period, warranty document, and stamp from the reseller ('Ourivesaria do Bolhão'), confirming the origin of national sale.
Measures:
- Diameter: 55 mm
Total height with crown: 70 mm
- Thickness: approx. 20 mm
Condition: good overall condition; item fully functional.
Included accessories: original box + warranty with seller stamp.
