Dedicated to Dr. José d'Almeida of Singapore, one of the city's earliest European settlers and a key historical figure in its early colonial development—a notable association.
Illustrated with several folding maps, including the Indian Archipelago, Java, Borneo, and Singapore region.
Modern professional rebinding with gilt-titled spine ('Earl's Indian Archipelago') and marbled boards. Interior clean, light age toning and minor foxing on some pages. All maps present and well preserved.
