Original 1914 German Barber–Hairdresser & Wigmaker Guild Apprentice Certificate (Lehrbrief) and Examination Document (Prüfungszeugnis) – Neustadt an der Orla
Presented here is a rare, fully preserved original guild certificate set issued by the Bund Deutscher Barbier-, Friseur- und Perückenmacher-Innungen in Neustadt an der Orla, dated 6 April 1914.
This impressive historical document includes:
Lehrbrief (Apprenticeship Certificate)
Prüfungszeugnis (Final Examination Certificate)
Original guild stamps and handwritten signatures
The original hardcover folder with gold guild lettering
The certificate was issued to Paul Stemmler, born 21 September 1896, confirming the completion of his 3-year professional training under Master Theodor Rechtstaschel, and successfully passing all sections of the journeyman examination (“gut”).
