Photo taken in 1984 on the set of Once Upon a Time in America, directed by Sergio Leone. Robert De Niro during a break on the set. Photo taken with a NikonF2.
The photo is digitally printed on Hahnemuhle cotton paper, model photo rag ultra smooth, 305gsm. It is framed with a 4cm mat. The inks used are archival and guaranteed for 150 years. The photograph bears the artist's original stamp and signature. The photos are presented at low resolution in the auction to prevent unauthorized reproductions; however, the photos sent to buyers will be reproduced from the original high-resolution files for optimal printing.
Emilio Lari was born in Rome in 1939 and has been a set photographer from 1960 to the present. In 1960, his passion for photography led him to join the press office team of Luigi Pratulon (then a set photographer for Federico Fellini's film 'La Dolce Vita').
Subsequently, he was sent to London to photograph the new group, the Beatles, at the beginning of their success. Emilio, a master of photographic lighting, worked on over 140 films.
