Lasveguix presents Marilyn Monroe, an original 2025 urban art portrait in collage and mixed media on a black background, signed by hand, sold with frame, 50 × 40 cm (unframed 40 × 30 cm), weight 3 kg, produced in France.
Description from the seller
Torn posters, aerosol, acrylic, Posca, on a black background within a black frame 50x40cm
Unframed artwork size 40x30cm.
Unique work, direct from the workshop. Secure and fast shipping.
Lasveguix doesn't just paint; he tears, overlays, and reconstructs. His creations are skins of walls, fragments of urbanity where posters blend with graffiti, where acrylic dialogues with aerosol and Posca. Each work is a pulse, a street scar transposed onto canvas.
Initiated into graffiti by his cousin SUOZ, he feeds his visual language from the walls of Paris and London. In his gesture, you can hear echoes of the great names that have marked urban and contemporary art: Jacques Villeglé and Raymond Hains for torn poster art, Vhils for sculpted material, Basquiat for raw energy, Jérôme Mesnager for the silhouette, Miss Tic for poetic words, Ernest Pignon-Ernest for urban memory, Jef Aérosol for stencil art, Invader for urban pixels, and Obey for engaged icons.
Having been active in the street art scene for over twenty years, Lasveguix has managed to establish a universe that is both punk and poetic. Since 2022, he transposes this street heritage to the studio, creating works where movement, time, and collective memory freeze without ever fading.
Recognized for his uniqueness, he regularly participates in charity galas and prestigious auctions — COEUR CENTRAL at Roland Garros, Around the Williams at Pavillon Ledoyen, Doing My Part, Nav Solidaire, and SOS Préma. His creations reach record amounts, confirming a special place in urban and contemporary art.
Lasveguix advocates for accessible, free, and vibrant art, where each piece torn away tells a story of love and positivity.
