Description from the seller
An exceptional trio of Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge 2011 from the highly respected Domaine Morey-Coffinet, one of the rising stars of the Côte de Beaune. Known primarily for their outstanding whites, the domaine also produces a remarkably refined and rare red Chassagne — a wine that perfectly showcases the elegance and depth of Pinot Noir from this prestigious terroir.
A Rare Expression of Chassagne in Red
Crafted from old-vine Pinot Noir planted on mineral-rich limestone and clay soils, this 2011 offers a beautiful combination of ripe red berries, soft spices, floral undertones, and a subtle earthy complexity that reflects true Burgundian authenticity. The palate is silky and balanced, with refined tannins and a long, graceful finish.
Vintage 2011
A charming and expressive vintage now at perfect maturity, delivering harmony, finesse, and beautifully evolved aromatics while retaining excellent freshness.
Condition
All three bottles show excellent levels and very good cellar preservation — a superb set for collectors or Burgundy enthusiasts.
A distinguished and increasingly rare opportunity to acquire three bottles of Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge from one of the appellation’s most respected domaines — a refined, elegant, and truly authentic Burgundy.
These bottles have been stored in a passionate collector’s private cellar, kept in optimal conditions over the last 15 years. Nevertheless, we cannot guarantee the remaining quality of the wine, which will depend on each individual’s appreciation. Please refer to pictures and don't hesitate to ask more info or picture if necessary. No returns or refunds will be possible.
