Zacharie son - Lyon
Fine spindle watch in a silver case.
Massive collector's watch.
Fine enamel dial in very good condition, with only a small damage when winding. Roman numerals with an outward-running continuous minute track and preceding Arabic fives. Artfully crafted hands.
Rare elevator between VI and VII.
Front cover opening to the right.
Before the IX unlocking for the factory folding out.
Backward cut silver lid with inserted glass that allows viewing of the extraordinary work.
Very beautiful, splendidly decorated partially skeletonized work. Oval, artistically crafted spindle clamp, very beautiful floral depiction with engraved finish. White enamel ring for speed adjustment. Golden square decorative pillars in an interesting shape. Work signature on cut-out beams Zacharie fils and on a further free-standing beam banner A LYON. A magnificent execution by a master of his time.
Works functioning – a key is present that also serves as the square time-setting key on the dial.
As a collector's item, the running duration and accuracy were not tested.
Watch with a 51mm diameter with pendant 68mm. Height 24mm - Weight 84.5g
