Vintage Glycine Automatic Day-Date from the 1960s, powered by the Swiss ETA 2622 movement (17 jewels).
Day and date display (German day wheel), with quick-set for the date.
Stainless steel Compressor-type case (Brevet +313813), unpolished, with honest wear consistent with age.
Original fluted crown typical for this case style.
Original black dial with orange seconds hand and light patina.
Around the day/date window there is a slightly darker black shade, visible only from certain angles.
Original plexiglass with minor marks.
The watch has been inspected, cleaned, oiled and regulated by a watchmaker.
Amplitude above 230° at 52° lift angle.
Runs well; the date changes between 12:00 and 1:00, which is normal for this movement.
The caseback interior marked “9–68”, indicating September 1968 production.
Fitted with a vintage stainless steel bracelet, suitable for wrists up to 20 cm.
Diameter: 37 mm (excluding crown).
NOT waterproof tested.
