Six Dutch-language Louis Couperus works in one lot, including the 1963 jubileum edition of Eline Vere in linen with gold print, with multiple editions and about 1200 pages in total, in very good condition.

The fact that life is finite has been increasingly emphasized in recent years by the enormous flood of books by Louis Couperus offered by antiquarians and at auctions. There is wear and tear among collectors.
Then why a Couperus plot?
Simple because the offered plot clearly stands out from all those other offers that, as mentioned, have recently appeared.
As the 1963 anniversary edition (12th edition) of the novel ‘Eline Vere’ published by P.N van Kampen on the occasion of the centenary of Couperus’s birth, in linen with gold embossing, in a special case with old photographs - 580 pages.
