Baccarat - Carafe - cristal overlay rouge - Crystal

Slender decanter from the BACCARAT manufacture in cut crystal with dark red overlay.
The overlay crystal is a layer of white crystal covered with colored crystal that, once cut, reveals the white crystal through transparency.
Very beautiful, richly cut model, with the overlay revealing a pattern of flutes, fluted collar, starry base, original stopper with a characteristic bubble of Baccarat later reused on the Malmaison model, with a plain foot.
Early 20th-century production, the carafe does not bear the signature of the crystal works but is representative of the style and color, the model is shown in the 1903/04 catalog on page 42.
It is in perfect condition.
