B. Morah, Bosque Ingrávido 56 XL (NO RESERVE), acrylic painting, original edition, created in 2025, 100 cm by 75 cm, hand-signed, from Spain, landscape in a surreal style inspired by Magritte.
Description from the seller
INVISIBLE FOREST 56 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism.
This work is part of a series that sublimates the natural and the impossible into a single vision. In 'Bosque Ingrávido,' the trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that binds them to the ground. The landscape becomes a stage for the improbable: a forest that is not held by the laws of physics, but by the rules of imagination.
The reference to Magritte is no coincidence: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the everyday becomes strange, and the impossible, obvious. The trees suspended in the air compel us to reconsider the concept of the organic and the stable, while the chromatic play—with electric blues, incandescent reds, and deep shadows—intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere.
This series raises essential questions: What happens when we take the weight off nature? Can zero gravity reveal another dimension of the landscape, one more emotional than physical? "Ingravido Forest" is both a metaphor and a provocation, a visual act of liberation that defies logic to reveal a new poetic space.
"Ingravid Forest" by itself already evokes a powerful image: floating trees that challenge not only physics but also our perception of what a forest should be.
