His theories influenced two generations of naturalists, notably Jean-Baptiste de Lamarck and Charles Darwin. Used condition, given the age, minor flaws may appear but without severity (scattered rust spots and small stains on some pages, and rarely old traces of adhesive paper), however, the bindings are in good condition and the notebooks are very securely attached.
