Will Faber (1901–1987) – Abstract line and color composition.
Technique: Colored ink and pencil on paper.
Dimensions of the work: 12 × 17 cm
Measurements with frame: 20 × 26 cm

Framed: Yes, modern frame with passe-partout.
Condition: Very good. Paper with a uniform patina and slight waviness inherent to the original support. Stable colors, sharp line.
Description:
Delicate and dynamic abstract drawing by Will Faber, where the artist displays his characteristic mesh of superimposed lines, almost musical, accentuated by touches of red and ochre. The composition, seemingly chaotic yet rhythmic, reveals Faber's pursuit of a visual space where gesture, structure, and color coexist naturally. An intimate, fresh piece that is highly representative of the artist's graphic language. Ideal for collectors of modern drawing and post-war art.
Brief biography
Will Faber was born in Saarbrücken (Germany) and trained between Munich and Berlin, coming into contact with expressionist and avant-garde circles. In 1932, he settled in Barcelona, where he developed extensive activity as an illustrator, graphic designer, and painter. His work evolved from an initial expressionism towards abstraction, incorporating influences from cubism, futurism, and informalism. During the 1950s and 1960s, he explored collage, dripping, and graphic signs, creating a personal language of great gestural and symbolic strength. Faber is today a prominent figure in 20th-century European abstraction.
