Passionate about fauna and flora, Katie Scott continuously draws nature. Her easily recognizable hand works in the purest tradition of 19th-century naturalist illustrations.
Eight species of BROMELIACEAE are represented here, out of the 3,300 recorded to date. This family of plants from tropical regions of America develops in two distinct ways. Some of them are called epiphytes (growing on the surface of another plant) and grow against a branch or trunk, while others, like pineapple, grow on the ground.
According to the Arfon edition Art Squares Dictionary, it is considered rare and sought after. Collector.
