Description from the seller
Bronze Flower Vase 青銅花生(せいどうはないけ) – Yoshihisa Hasegawa 長谷川恵久(はせがわよしひさ)with sugi wooden box(杉製木箱)
This bronze flower vase was created by Yoshihisa Hasegawa, an artist who carried forward the traditional metalworking techniques of Yamagata casting while producing highly acclaimed original works. He received distinguished recognition in major exhibitions such as Nitten, where he was awarded Special Selection and later exhibited without jury.
The vase is made of bronze and crafted using traditional Yamagata casting and patination techniques. Its refined surface features natural verdigris tones characteristic of classic bronze art, with subtle color variations that deepen gracefully with use over time.
