Hand sculptured from a dark clay ceramic whale is hand-made and hand painted with antique gold glaze with glazed goldenbronze elements. Piece of ceramic art signed by the artist.

Urszula Despet has been creating artistic ceramics since the early 90s, and since 2007 has been running Despet Ceramika Studio with her husband Grzegorz in Kraków, Poland. The artists create unique handmade objects, decorative items, sculptures and figurines especially animals: horses, bulls, birds, rhinoceros. All works are hand-made and hand painted with colored glazes with glazed goldenbronze elements. Then they are fired at a temperature of 1100 degrees Celsius or with traditional Japanese Raku techniques. Each work is signed. Artists take part in various ceramic festivals, their works are appreciated both in Poland and abroad, and used as decorations in TV commercial, TV series and movies.
