Description from the seller
The Who, Roger Daltrey (1967)
This image of Roger Daltrey was taken by Franco Turcati in Turin during The Who's first concert in Italy. Roger Daltrey was the charismatic singer and frontman of The Who, one of the most influential bands of the British rock scene of the 1960s. Born on March 1, 1944, in London, Daltrey stood out for his powerful voice, magnetic stage presence, and a unique style characterized by theatrical movements and the iconic spinning microphone gesture. In the early years of The Who's career, Daltrey embodied youthful rebellion and the energy of the period. Together with Pete Townshend (guitarist and primary songwriter), John Entwistle (bassist), and Keith Moon (drummer), he became a symbol of the mod movement. Songs like 'My Generation' and 'I Can't Explain' expressed the frustration and identity of 1960s youth, with Daltrey giving voice to these emotions with unprecedented power and attitude. During this period, he became known for his rebellious rocker image and his ability to interpret Townshend's lyrics with emotional intensity, defining the band's vocal style. His performance in the revolutionary rock opera 'Tommy' (1969) further cemented his status as a rock icon. Daltrey was not just a singer but also a central figure in shaping the sound and identity of The Who, helping to transform them into one of the most innovative and representative bands of 1960s counterculture.

Conservation advice for works
For optimal preservation of your Fine Art print:
Our Fine Art prints deserve special care to preserve their quality over time, preventing yellowing or fading.
It is recommended to always handle them with clean, dry cotton gloves.
In case of framing, use a mat to prevent direct contact between the print and the glass.
Keep the prints protected from direct light. The materials of storage boxes are also essential: cartons containing lignin or with an acidic pH can damage the print support and promote yellowing.
