Dagje aan het strand, a 2010–2020 oil painting from the Netherlands, sold with frame.
Description from the seller
Niek van der Plas (1954) grew up in Katwijk aan Zee. The fishing village, where the old white church, the sea, and the dunes play a prominent role, can be seen in many of his paintings. Niek started drawing at a young age, encouraged by his father. In 1966, he was nominated as a student at the Famous Artist School in the United States. Van der Plas is a colorist. He prefers to work with warm colors. His work thus acquires a French atmosphere. The paintings are appreciated by a broad audience both domestically and internationally. In the premiere of the theater production by Joop van den Ende, 'Aspects of Love,' Niek van der Plas's painting 'Canal Grande Venetië' was chosen for the set design (alongside paintings by, among others, Vincent van Gogh and Maximilien Luce).
The painting, featuring a charming depiction of a day at the beach, is floating framed in a black box frame. It is carefully packaged and shipped via registered mail.
