AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

I draw inspiration from nature and everyday life. The children in the river within this enchanting universe of the Sèvre is a theme I explore further through the use of different colors and textures. Here, pigments add depth, while the depiction of the characters is intentionally static and stylized.

This is an acrylic with oil accents on canvas, mounted on a frame. Ready to hang on the wall. A frame can enhance its presentation. Shipping will be at the buyer's expense.

I have trained through contact with the living artists I have met since my childhood. I have deepened my perspective by visiting museums. I followed a university course at Paris Sorbonne and Paul Valéry in Montpellier in art history and visual arts. I have had the chance to benefit from the advice of painters, friends and teachers, including Christoff Debusschère and Rémy Aron, Marie Line Montécot. I am a member of the Maison des artistes.

I work with juice and impasto, in oil, sometimes in acrylic, with natural pigments. My technique is based on classical elaboration and a great curiosity about texture and graphics. My repertoire is mainly narrative, which I feed with the visual memory of moments in my life, the images conveyed by current events, the emotion that arises from them, the photos that I take or collect. The history of art is for me a breeding ground of references that I love and transcribe.

I exhibit regularly in the region where I live and work, in the Pays de la Loire region, but also at ArtCapital, in the prestigious Comparaisons fair, at the Grand Palais in Paris. I just exhibited at the Orangerie du Sénat in Paris this summer. I live and paint on the banks of the Loire.
