An atmospheric and highly expressive acrylic painting on paper, signed by the contemporary British artist Kirsty Wain. This captivating work transports the viewer to a Mediterranean balcony, looking out over a terracotta-tiled village towards the imposing silhouette of the Sierra Bernia mountains at sunset.
The composition is framed by a striking turquoise-blue architectural arch and a detailed balustrade, which draws the eye into the warm scene beyond. Wain employs bold, thick brushstrokes to capture the intense colours of the late day sun.
