Frida Kahlo, a symbol of resistance and identity, is transported to an urban, psychedelic universe. The Mexican artist, transformed into a mural stencil, chews lilac bubblegum: an ironic, childish, and disruptive gesture. The work celebrates free and unconventional femininity, with a tone somewhere between the sacred and the irreverent.

Technical detail

The work blends black-and-white portraiture and digital layering on a mural background. Corroded textures, neon graffiti, and paint drips mingle with floral details and glitchy lettering. The translucent purple bubble stands out in the center, a symbol of aesthetic disruption, almost as if to silence any previously written narrative.
