Description from the seller
Hans Georg Kresse (Amsterdam, December 3, 1921 – Doorwerth, March 12, 1992) is regarded as one of the greatest pillars of Dutch comics, having left an impressive body of work, with Eric de Noorman as his magnum opus. Along with Marten Toonder (e.g., Tom Poes and Heer Bommel) and Jean Dulieu (e.g., Paulus the forest gnome), Hans Kresse is considered one of the big three comic artists in the Netherlands. Rightly, Hans G. Kresse is seen both in his homeland and abroad as one of the very best realistic comic artists, who has also served as an inspiration for many other artists.
This lot contains the very first edition of the famous book De Gouden Dolk. It is one of the most beautiful books about Native Americans ever made. A lovely story illustrated with beautiful drawings. This copy is in good condition. The thin paper dust jacket is missing (as is usually the case). This copy has a neat front and back cover, a tidy spine, and a beautiful book block.
Also, especially look at the photos, which are an essential part of the description and provide a good impression of the quality.
This item will be sent to the new owner via registered mail, with maximum protection in packaging.
