Yoshida Shoen is a ceramic artist. He is the only apprentice of Miwa Kyusetu, a Living National Treasure (the highest rank in the Japanese Meister system), and one of the genius ceramic artists who died young. Yoshida Shoen was also a Living National Treasure.
