IMAGES 1932 is an exceptional portfolio of 54 outstanding photographs presented in a portfolio by the renowned Jean Brerault. A rare and complete copy, including an introductory leaf, with a rigid cover portfolio made of half raw canvas with a ribbon (laced closure), embossed title on the front cover, and all 54 Rhodoid photographs in heliogravure from the original 1932 version of the portfolio. This is indeed the authentic 1932 portfolio, produced around the same time as Germaine Krull's famous 'Études de Nus' or Brassaï's 'Paris'.

A true collectible item, a piece of early 20th-century photography history, this Portfolio is a unique and particularly singular collectible piece. Originally published in 650 copies, it is one of the few remaining copies in the 21st century, and is perfectly complete with all 54 original photographs and the introductory sheet dedicated to it.

Contains exceptional unpublished heliogravure photographs, notably of Albert Einstein and Génia Steinberg, among others.

Fifty-four unpublished photographs, remnants of the early 20th-century Photography, covering themes such as portraits, faces, landscapes, urbanism, nature, and architecture. The copy is somewhat worn by time, nearly a century old! But overall in very good condition and perfectly complete!
