Description from the seller
Original painting by MARENA.
Triptych XXL 'Quantum Silence'
One of a kind hand-painted originals directly from the artist's studio.
The triptych consists of three paintings, each measuring 60 × 50 cm. The complete composition measures 60 × 150 cm.
Each painting is stretched on a wooden stretcher frame and signed by the artist on the reverse.
Signed certificates of authenticity are included – one for each of the three paintings, which means you can arrange the paintings together as a triptych or separately.
Painting I — “Obsidian No. I”
A restrained yet powerful composition in black and white tones, Obsidian No. I explores silence as a visual structure. The surface alternates between controlled stillness and spontaneous gesture, creating tension between depth and reflection. The work evokes the idea of night not as emptiness, but as a space of latent energy and suspended time.
Painting II — "Azure Apex"
Azure Apex captures the moment of emergence — a form rising from darkness toward light. The sharp, ascending geometry suggests both natural and architectural references, balancing raw movement with a sense of disciplined precision. The contrast of deep black and crystalline blue creates a luminous tension that feels at once intimate and monumental.
Painting III — "Ivory Momentum"
In Ivory Momentum, the painting dissolves into pure motion. White pigment expands across the surface like a suspended wave, blurring the boundary between control and chance. The work suggests a continuous state of becoming, where movement becomes matter and matter becomes light.
Triptych — “Quantum Silence” (full series description)
Quantum Silence is a meditative exploration of tension, emergence, and release. Across three panels, the series navigates the boundary between darkness and illumination, structure and fluidity, control and spontaneity. The works function both independently and as a unified visual architecture, inviting the viewer into a refined, contemplative experience of contemporary abstraction.
About Artist
Marena is a contemporary visual artist from Poland whose work explores the emotional and physical dynamics of color, movement, and organic structure. Large-scale paintings are created through layered processes that balance control with spontaneity, allowing pigment, texture, and flow to interact in unpredictable ways. This interplay results in immersive, pulsating compositions that feel alive and atmospheric.
The approach is rooted in observing natural forces, the energy of motion, and the emotional states that can be carried within the material itself. Each canvas is treated as an environment — dynamic, shifting between tension and harmony. The works often evoke depth, luminosity, and a sense of organic rhythm.
Marena’s paintings are held in private collections in Poland and abroad. The artist collaborates with galleries and auction platforms internationally, continuing to develop a studio practice in Poland and focusing on creating works that invite contemplation, stillness, and sensory engagement.
