Biography
JonOne (Franco-American, born in 1963 in New York), famous for his graffiti-influenced works, was born in the Harlem neighborhood, where colorful and elaborate graffiti art is evolving. He began creating graffiti of his name with a childhood friend at the age of 17. In 1984, he founded the collective Graffiti 156 All Starz to bring together graffiti artists' passion.
After moving to Paris in 1987, he began working as a canvas painter in a studio. He quickly made a name for himself in the Parisian art circles through his canvas works, was exhibited in 1990 at Gallery 45 in Berlin, and participated in the Graffiti Paris exhibition, where his work is permanently displayed. His works are among the most significant auctions conducted in the graffiti world. #artribuneQ4
